HmInSNCare After serving in the military for 8 years, including a deployment in Iraq for Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Steve Boos realized that he wanted to dedicate his career to helping others. His wife, Cathi, a social gerontologist, who had worked extensively with the Area Agency on Aging and in a nursing home, agreed. Together, they decided that helping seniors was the perfect opportunity to blend their passion and experience.

Since opening their North Kansas City Home Instead Senior Care office in 2005, Steve and Cathi have built a successful franchise that has served an estimated 600 seniors and employs nearly 100 CAREGivers.
