COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER:

We are looking for a team-focused Commercial Loan Officer who is community minded and willing to work with a small lending staff to develop and maintain a quality commercial loan portfolio with an emphasis on small to mid-sized business lending, including C & I, CRE and SBA products.

We are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, with excellent analytical skills, strong financial and underwriting skills, extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures, extensive knowledge of lending services and good managerial, communication, business development and sales skills. A minimum of five years of experience is required.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing the credit history of applicants
  • Negotiating credit terms
  • Recommending loan rates and approvals
  • Developing interest rate structure consistent with financial institution policies and procedures
  • Developing new customer prospects and business
  • Cross-marketing bank’s deposit products and other loan products
  • Serving on the Commercial Loan Monitoring Committee

CONTROLLER: 

We are looking for a Controller / General Accounting Manager to lead our team of accounting professionals in their day-to-day activities.

We are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field or equivalent work experience, with a good working knowledge of financial accounting and generally accepted accounting principles. The successful candidate will have strong computer-based accounting and business information systems experience, preferably in a banking environment, and a good working knowledge of all bank-related departments. Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills, along with effective oral and written communication skills are required.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise direct reports in preparing financial reports and month-end activities.
  • Manage accounts payable process.
  • Ensure all regulatory and tax reporting is filed accurately and timely.
  • Balance monthly accounts including prepaid assets and accrued expenses.
  • Prepare various financial reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Review daily balance sheet, income statement and posted transactions.
  • Reconcile internal bank accounts.
  • Maintain pledging for repos, FHLB borrowings and public funds.
  • Monitor and supervise orders for cash supply.
  • Oversee the daily reconciliations for all Due-From accounts

PART TIME UNIVERSAL BANKER/TELLER:

We are currently looking for a part time universal banker with a passion for customer service for our North Brighton office. Experience is good, but we’ll give you all the training you need to be successful in this role. Part time hours include daily lunch coverage, working every other Saturday, and vacation coverage. 

We are seeking someone with a high school diploma or equivalent who will successfully complete the bank’s in-house teller training program. The successful applicant will possess good interpersonal communication and computer skills. Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.

  • Conduct various banking transactions
  • Verify important information including endorsements, dates, and identification
  • Maintain proper currencies and coins in bank drawer
  • Balance all monies at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain teller area to ensure the safety of all negotiables and confidential records
