Mario Usera

Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer

He has been President since 2006 and was named CEO in September 2013. He was named Chairman of the Board of Directors in February 2021 and has been a member of the Board since 2002. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer from February 2006 to September 2013. He joined the Bank on July 1, 1997. President Usera was a federal thrift regulator for more than 14 years before joining the Bank. He is a 1982 graduate of South Dakota State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree (Commercial Economics and Journalism). 

Jackie Murtha

Senior Vice President

She has been with the Bank since June 2013 and has over 37 years of prior banking experience. Her duties include management of new accounts and teller staff at the main office in Liberty and overseeing all aspects of commercial accounts for the Bank. She has provided informational presentations to seniors on fraud, partnering with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, the City of Liberty and the State of Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services. Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, she moved to Kansas City in November 1980. Ask her about that story – it has to do with the Royals and the World Series.

Pamela Crow

Vice President and Compliance Officer/Internal Auditor

She moved to the Kansas City area in 2006 and was hired by the Bank. Prior to joining Clay County Savings Bank she had been in banking for 11 years in various positions such as Teller, Personal Banker, Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager. She was born and raised in Trenton, MO and attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO, where she received a BA in Mass Communications. Pamela also attended Webster University in St Louis and received her Master’s in Public Administration. After graduating from school she joined the Army and was an active duty officer. She received an honorable discharge at the rank of Captain.

Cristina Johnson

Vice President

She oversees Loan Administration, which includes loan processing and servicing. She also is a Loan Officer. She joined the Bank in 2008 as a Teller. In 2009 she transferred to the Loan Department and became a Loan Officer in 2014. Vice President Johnson is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.
